I have lived in University Place since 1989. That is when I fell in love with the PNW. My first place of employment was for a foster home with special needs. I helped guide them with daily living skills. That is when I knew I had a passion to teach. After graduating from Curtis High School I worked for the Tacoma School District as a Paraeducator. I’ve also worked as a respite and personal care provider through Washington State Developmental Disability Division.

I enjoy working in the community and have for 28 years. I love watching the different qualities that they learn throughout their development. Since January 2015 I have been employed at Montessori In Motion. My passion to help, guide and care for others has grown and I am looking forward to many more years to come!
